Join us for a friendly fall tournament sparring competition for adults, teens, and kids (purple belt & up)!
Saturday, November 23rd at 11 am
Spar Wars will be held at Berkeley Cuong Nhu Karate
- Traditional Point Sparring—open to kids & adults Green Belt & above.
- Team Sparring: 3 person teams (form your own team in advance, or recruit a team on the day of the event)
- Padded Sword Sparring*: open to kids & adults. Kids under age 10 must be Purple Belt or higher rank.
*Padded swords and helmets provided
Double elimination: everyone gets at least two rounds of action.
Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th places only.
Divisions will be based on age, weight and rank.
Competition begins promptly at 11am, in place of kata class.
Register by November 23rd: $15 for one event; $5 each additional
Late Registration Fee after Nov. 9th is $5
